I have become a founding member of BOTH, an artist artist-led, non-profit gallery dedicated to promoting contemporary art.

BOTH's mission is to showcase emerging and underrepresented artists from diverse backgrounds while serving as a hub for creative dialogue within the local and creative communities. The primary objective is to offer a platform for dynamic artists, regardless of their financial capacity, enabling them to share their work.

Reflections on social exchange through creativity

An exhibition featuring 22 artists explores social interaction through place, memory and time. Reflecting on relations between cooperation, exchange, inequality, power and status.

Inspired by this keynote lecture responding to the exhibition Action, Gesture, Paint, Pollock looks back at the innovative exhibitions in Whitechapel Gallery’s history of showing women artists, including Lee Krasner (1965), Eva Hesse (1979), Frida Kahlo and Tina Modotti (1984) and Inside the Visible (1996) to ask: what is feminist curation?
